We just wanted to say again a huge thank you for everything you have done for Charlie. When we came to you, we felt we were fighting against the current just to get anyone to acknowledge what we instinctively felt - that Charlie's head shape would not improve on its own, and that he needed help.
It was such a relief to find people who knew exactly what was wrong, and who believed there was a way forward. In fact, worrying about the problem and about Charlie perhaps having to wear a helmet was far worse than the reality - when it came to it, Charlie adapted with absolute aplomb to his helmet, and even got a bit grumpy when it had to come off! Charlie can now look forward to a life without all the side-effects and implications of plagiocephaly - we always felt he was our perfect baby boy, but with your help, he is now fully set up for what we hope will be a very happy childhood.
The first photo was taken shortly before he began treatment with you in December 07, with asymmetry of 2.5cm, and the second taken a couple of days before he finished treatment end of March 08, with zero asymmetry. Thank you again, and we wish you luck with everything you do for children like Charlie.

Dear Dr. Blecher,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for your successful treatment of our son.
After initially speaking with the NHS and being assured that our sons ‘flat head’ would return to normal, we soon realised the deformity was worsening. When our son was about 10 months old, we were searching the internet to understand more, and then discovered Dr. Blecher and Ahead4babies.
From the outset, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of Dr. Blecher and his team. The environment was extremely relaxing and informal as we learnt more about the different head deformities. After the initial consultation we were under no pressure to proceed with the helmet, but we felt that with all the facts presented to us, it would be in the best interest of our son.
Despite the late age of our son, the helmet worked extremely well, and even after the first few weeks, we really could not believe how effective the treatment actually was. Our son adapted very easily to the helmet, even in very hot climates where we travelled to regularly.
The dates for subsequent consultations and readjustments were flexible enough to fit our schedules. The very professional team at Ahead4babies ensured that it was always a pleasant experience. In all the consultations we had with Dr. Blecher, the service was excellent, and we never felt hurried or rushed. Dr. Blecher took the time to answer all of our questions, and ensure our happiness throughout.
I have to say that the end result has far surpassed our expectations and we are extremely happy. We could not have asked for more.
I would recommend anyone who has a baby with a head deformity to contact Ahead4babies and I am sure they will not be disappointed with the service, expertise, and treatment.
